    In a pot, boil the beef trotters in lightly salted water together with the crushed garlic, ginger and pepper for 4 hours.

    Add the crushed djansang to the cooking liquid to thicken it, then add the chopped vegetables and the whole chilli.

    Let it simmer for about ten minutes.

    After seasoning, taste and it is ready.

    For the side dish, boil plantain, yam or any other starch. Slice it and it is ready! Enjoy your beef trotter broth, preferably hot.
