A soft, moist yogurt sponge cake measured out using the empty yogurt pot. It is easy to make and can be flavoured with fruit pieces or flavoured yogurts.

    Preheat your oven to 180°C (gas mark 6).

    Pour the yogurt into a mixing bowl, keep and wash the pot to measure the other ingredients.

    Add the eggs and mix well.

    Add the sugar and the flour, measuring with the yogurt pot, and stir well.

    Add the baking powder, the vanilla sugar and finally the half pot of oil.

    Bake for 30 minutes in a buttered tin.

    Check from time to time whether the cake is done, as the baking time varies depending on the oven.

    Wait 3 to 5 minutes before unmoulding. Serve your yogurt cake warm or completely cooled. Tips and advice: you can add fruit pieces or use flavoured yogurts.
