    Soak the red beans in water for about 6 hours.

    Shell the corn and boil it for about 10 minutes with the kanwa (baking soda).

    After cooking, drain the corn and pour it into a large dish with cold water.

    Work the corn with your hands to remove the skin (de-pulp it).

    In another saucepan, cook the beans, drain and set aside.

    Prepare the smoked fish.

    Chop the onions and crush the tomato.

    Crush the madjanga (dried shrimp).

    Pour the warmed red oil into a saucepan and sauté the onions in it, then the tomato.

    Let simmer for 5 minutes, add the smoked fish,

    mix and let simmer again for 5 minutes.

    Then add the beans. Mix well.

    Add the corn. Mix well.

    Add the madjanga and a little water.

    Adjust the seasoning and let everything simmer for about 15 minutes.

    Serve. This dish is even better the next day.
