    Soak the beans in a large volume of water and let them rest like this for at least 6 hours.

    Rinse them and put them in a large pot with plenty of water, then place on the heat.

    Let the black beans cook over medium heat.

    Crush the chilli and set aside. After 1 hour of cooking, add the plantains, previously washed but not peeled.

    Let the whole thing cook for another hour. Drain the beans and peel the plantains.

    Then place the pot on a stable surface and hold it firmly.

    Using a fufu stick, a pestle or a spatula, pound the mixture.

    Heat the palm oil without letting it whiten, just enough to liquefy it. When the oil is hot, pour it over the plantain and bean mixture.
