  • check_circle 1 kg flour
  • check_circle 150 ml milk
  • check_circle 150 ml refined oil + 0.5 l for frying
  • check_circle 1 egg
  • check_circle 150 g sugar (depending on personal taste)
  • check_circle 300 ml warm water
  • check_circle 1 pinch of salt
  • check_circle 1 packet of baking powder
  • check_circle 1 packet of vanilla sugar

receipt_long Preparation Steps

  1. 1
In a deep dish, mix the flour, milk, oil, egg, sugar, warm water, salt, vanilla sugar and baking powder.
  2. 2
Knead it all well to form a ball of dough.
  3. 3
On a cutting board, sprinkle a little flour and roll out your dough so it does not stick to the board. Once it is well rolled out, cut it into squares or diamonds (any shape will do). Then make a small slit in the middle of each square or diamond, pass one end through the slit and pull it out the other side. At this point you will have a sort of twist or braid. Let it rest for half an hour.
  4. 4
Heat your oil and drop in your twists to fry. Turn them from time to time as they brown. Remove and drain the rusks as soon as they are cooked. Enjoy.
